What do you say to a stressed mom?

We have all experienced feelings of stress and being stretched beyond our capacity. In moments like these having a supportive friend to lift your spirits and offer a helping hand is essential to overcoming difficult days or seasons of life. Here are a few affirmations for moms in your life who are feeling stressed:

  • I am here for you. You are not alone in this.
  • That sounds hard. Do you have time for a coffee and a listening ear?
  • This is such a difficult time. I totally get why you feel overwhelmed.
  • Can I babysit for a few hours so that you can have some much needed YOU time?
  • How can I help you take something off of your plate?
  • Dinner is on me tonight – check your email for a Skip the Dishes gift card!
  • Your kids love you so much.
  • I am thinking of you. How can I pray specifically for you?

What are 5 positive affirmations?

Our thoughts are powerful, they can create positive or negative feelings which then determine the actions we take, or don’t take, in our life. Choose to affirm yourself often by making this practice a part of your daily rhythms. Consider journaling in the morning, close your eyes and repeat a positive affirmation in the afternoon and say one aloud as you look in the mirror during your evening routine.

  1. I wake up motivated and ready to take on everything that comes my way today.
  2. I am grateful for this day that is a blessing and a gift.
  3. I am worthy of love.
  4. All is well with my soul.
  5. I am doing my best and that is enough.
